I look forward to working with you. I am accepting both in-person and telehealth sessions. Each person has the power to overcome adversity so please don’t hesitate to call if you are ready to work together towards achieving your goals.

Victoria Kissoon, LSW
Licensed Professional Counselor
Hello! I’m a Licensed Social Worker with a master’s degree in social work. My path into this work has always been guided by a deep desire to support others through life’s challenges and to create meaningful, authentic connections.
I’ve always felt drawn to working with children and adolescents and supporting them in expressing themselves, understanding their emotions, and navigating big feelings or life changes. Together, we explore those challenges in a space that’s safe, nonjudgmental, and built around their unique needs. I also value working closely with families to foster communication, healing, and a sense of connection at home. My goal is to meet you where you are. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and we will work collaboratively to shape our sessions in ways that feel helpful, empowering, and supportive of your goals.
though I have a small portion of my caseload for adults, I specialize in working with children and adolescents who may be experiencing life stressors, family stressors, emotional or behavioral difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, school stress, or family transitions. For many young people, therapy can be a space to explore their thoughts and feelings in creative and developmentally appropriate ways.
Together, we might use play, art, or bibliotherapy to help children express what they may not yet have words for. With adolescents & adults, I often integrate psychoeducation, strengths-based approaches, attachment theory, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help them develop insight, build coping skills, and better understand themselves. Family therapy is also a key part of the process when appropriate, as we work toward building stronger relationships and shared understanding. Whether we’re exploring emotions, facing difficult experiences, or simply building a space for growth and self-expression, we’ll do it together.
